When Russell Gray and Robert Cone joined forces in 1942, baby products were not their focus. The pair originally formed Graco Metal Products in Philadelphia, Penn. The firm created machine and car parts for local manufacturers for 11 years. I had actually bought another swing first and my mother had bought one like this for her house. My son did not like our swing and would cry everytime we put him in it but he loved the one my mother has,so I bought this one. He loves this swing, he can be fussy and we put him in the swing and turn the music on and he settles down almost immediately. I like that the swing is sturdy.
