Side impact cushions on the exterior of the seat reduce side impact energy and provide extra protection for other backseat passengers, while a head restraint keeps your child's head, neck, and spine in alignment. Premium lower LATCH connectors and built-in lock-offs provide quick and easy installation without the headaches. The five-point safety harness features an audible snug harness indicator to take the guesswork out of adjusting the harness, and two buckle positions to accommodate your growing child. The harness also features a quick-adjust system so you can reposition the shoulder height without taking apart the harness straps. This infant car seat can be used for rear-facing infants from 5 to 40 lbs., and for forward-facing children at least 1 year old and 20 to 70 lbs.
