The Britax Boulevard 70-G3 Zebra convertible car seat is wild about child safety. The base's SafeCell Technology™ lowers the seat's center of gravity in a crash, counteracting a seated child's forward movement to reduce the risk of a head injury. Integrated steel bars strengthen the seat's connection to the vehicle, and an energy-absorbing Versa-Tether with a two-point attachment and staged-release tether webbing further slows forward-movement. HUGS chest pads are affixed to the seat to ensure proper positioning and an EZ-Buckle System keeps the harness buckle in a forward position.
Deep side walls lined with energy-absorbing EPP foam offers superior side-impact protection, shielding and containing a child's head, neck, and body. They effectively distribute crash forces along with the secure, tangle-free five-point harness. High-density comfort foam, two buckle positions, an infant positioning insert, soft black and zebra printed fabric upholstery, and rear- and forward-facing recline positions provide comfort for children up to 70 lbs. Premium lower LATCH connectors make installation quick and simple, and built-in lock-offs ensure snug lap and shoulder belt installation. The anti-slip, contoured base grips and protects a vehicle seat, and the plush, easy-remove cover allows you to clean the seat without disassembling it. You don't ever have to disassemble the harness, either - a quick-adjust, no-rethread design repositions the harness height, and holders keep the straps at the sides when you're placing a child in the seat. My daughter LOVES her new Britax Boulevard 70-G3 Convertible Carseat in Zebra. It was a snap to install and to adjust. I simply logged onto the Britax site and watched the video instead of reading the instructions.
My daughter makes horse sounds when in it, and we say, "lets go ride the Zebra, lets go for a ride" She then makes the horse sound all the way to the seat. She refuses to get out of the seat when we reach our destination or home, so it must be very cozy.
We purchased the cup holder and the side storage bag. The cup holder is in easy reach for her, she is 21 months and small for her age. The storage bag has not been used.
We are so happy that we purchased this seat from Hayneedle.Com the Hayneedle Bucks came in handy when we decieded to purchase another Britax (Advocate G3) - which is not here yet....but we are excited!
