Bright blue and black, the Britax Frontier 85 Combination Harness-2-Booster Car Seat - Maui Blue is a comfy seat for your child, and is loaded with features to keep him safe. It's a car seat for children at least 2 years old who weigh between 25 and 85 lbs., and are 30 to 57 inches tall; it converts to a belt-positioning booster for children between 40 and 120 lbs. and 42 to 65 inches tall. It has a 5-point, tangle-free safety harness with 10 height positions and three buckle positions to easily fit your growing child, and the Harness Ultra Guard System (HUGS) resists forward movement in the event of a crash. Side impact protection keeps your child's head, neck, and spine in alignment, while the energy-absorbing Versa-Tether further slows forward movement and keeps the top of the child seat anchored. Premium lower LATCH connectors and color-coded vehicle belt guides ensure quick and easy installation in your car. This car seat is compatible with the SecureGuard accessory (not included), which works with your vehicle's safety belt in booster mode to keep your child from sliding under the lap belt; this reduces the risk of abdominal injury in a crash.

I bought this car seat for my 4 year old son. He had outgrown his car seat and we were not ready to move him to a booster. I love how this will grow with him. When we are ready to transfer to a booster, we don't have to go buy another seat. It is super stylish and comfortable. My son never wants to get out of his big boy car seat. And adjusting the straps for height is super easy. We have two of these car seats. The other for our 5 year old daughter in the hot pink. I can't say enough good things about these care seats.

this is my fourth Britax car seat purchase. Fortunately we have never had to "test" the safety features of Britax, but you can just "feel" the protection it would provide a child in the event of a crash. We have 4 children ranging from age 20 to age 3 and have owned many car seats prior to Britax. Not one, in my opinion has the solid structure of the Britax. One thing I notice and feel is vital is the quality of the latch buckles and the side impact protection. Just a real solid seat and not to mention roomy and comfortable!

Love the height adjust feature. I have a very tall 3 year old and this will keep him safe while I have plenty of room to adjust the head rest up lasting us a long time. My only complaint is that the seat doesn't latch down as tightly as our Sunshine Kids Radial seat did. That seat was latched in super tight and didn't move. This seat seems to move alot in comparison even though it is latched and we have pulled the belt adjuster as much as we can. I know it is safely in, it just seems to have more wiggle room than the one I was used to.

This car seat is very heavy & well-constructed. The cup holders are great for our toddler to be able to reach his water. We have not had it long enough to say whether it is comfortable for our child, but it is supposed to be safe....

My 4 year old loves his new carseat and I loved the ease of installing it- even though I'm 8 months pregnant! I ordered it Wednesday evening with free shipping and recieved it Saturday morning. You can't go wrong with britax safety!! About the date- my manufacture date was a month before so that was great, and the fabric issue- I didn't have any problems!
