The black design of the Britax Frontier 85 Combination Harness-2-Booster Car Seat - Onyx will fit with any car's interior, and its safety features will give you the comfort of knowing your child is secure. This car seat is for children at least 2 years old who weigh between 25 and 85 lbs., and are 30 to 57 inches tall; it converts to a belt-positioning booster for children between 40 and 120 lbs. and 42 to 65 inches tall. It has a 5-point, tangle-free safety harness with 10 height positions and three buckle positions to easily fit your growing child, and the Harness Ultra Guard System (HUGS) resists forward movement in the event of a crash. Side impact protection keeps your child's head, neck, and spine in alignment, while the energy-absorbing Versa-Tether further slows forward movement and keeps the top of the child seat anchored. Premium lower LATCH connectors and color-coded vehicle belt guides ensure quick and easy installation in your car. This car seat is compatible with the SecureGuard accessory (not included), which works with your vehicle's safety belt in booster mode to keep your child from sliding under the lap belt; this reduces the risk of abdominal injury in a crash.

We ordered this for my toddler who was ready to move up to a harness booster. We needed to move his sister from her infant seat to the Britax Marathon 70 that he had previously been in. He loved the Marathon and we felt comfortable enough to order the Frontier online. He will be able to move from harness to seatbelt using this seat, which means he will be in it for a very long time. So far, Britax has yet to disappoint. We even purchased the Britax double stroller when the little one was born. We have that much faith in the product. The shipping was quick and it arrived on our front doorstep the next day. Perfect transaction all around.
