The Recaro Euro Convertible Car Seat - Dakota is designed to grow with your child as they get older. With rear- and forward-facing capabilities, this carseat can hold children up to 35 lbs. rear facing and up to 70 lbs. forward facing. The adjustable head restraint also grows with your child so you can make sure their head is properly and comfortably placed. The Quick-pull adjustment harness allows you to easily adjust the harness from the front so you don't have to reach around the back of the carseat to make sure your child is safe. Polystyrene EPS foam absorbs the energy of a crash if one should occur. The Recaro Euro Convertible Carseat is also designed to protect your child's face, neck, head, and torso in case of a side impact collision. The harness features a stripe which alerts you if your child's harness is about to twist, or if a twist has already occurred. The harness also features pads for your child's comfort. Designed with comfort and safety in mind, you and your child will love riding around town and going on road trips together.

I am a research junkie and have looked at countless car seats and their reviews and this car seat stood out amongst all of them to me. It's a sturdy car seat, the 5 point harness gives you plenty of slack so you can easily adjust the belt and the material is really nice and soft. They've also added extra cushioning for comfort so my daughter has no problem falling asleep or getting comfy in her car seat. The seat also has a nice base so my 15 month old can see out of the car window and she loves it. It's convertable and a huge plus is that when you do turn this seat around to front facing you can still use it up to 70 pounds, most only go up to 40 or 50 pounds. Some of the extra padding is removable to accomodate your child as they grow. I also like that the Recaro is a well known for making race car seats, in addition to other items. But if they know how to make seats safe for a race car driver I have confidence that they can make an incredibly safe car seat. This is a little on the larger side, but I have no problem getting this is a car or an SUV. I am really pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend this car seat.
