The Recaro ProRide Convertible Car Seat - Riley is a beautiful carseat that is made with the safety of your child in the forefront of the designers minds. Designed with a multiple protective energy-absorbing foam system, this carseat includes polystyrene EPS foam as well as PUR comfort foam for your child's safety and comfort. The foam helps to absorb the crash force energy when an accident occurs and even includes side impact protection foam as well as head wings to help keep your baby protected in case of an accident. The five-point adjustable safety harness features a Quick Pull Front Adjust Harness so you can easily adjust your child's harness without having to reach behind the carseat. The harness and the head restraint are adjusted together so you don't have to worry about re-threading to properly position the harness shoulder straps to your child. Both are adjusted by the simple turn of a knob.
Built to ensure your child's comfort, the ProRide Convertible Carseat is made with the CoolMesh Air Ventilation system which is designed so the mesh insert combines with the Recaro's unique air circulation system which promotes airflow throughout the carseat to help keep your child cool and comfortable. This carseat also has the highest weight capacity available today utilizing a 5-point harness in a convertible carseat and can hold children, forward facing, up to 70 lbs. The Recaro ProRide Convertible Carseat can hold children from five to 70 lbs. and is made to grow with your child from the time they are an infant into childhood.

Comments about Recaro ProRide Convertible Car Seat - Riley:
I absolutely love this seat. Love the color. What I don't love about it is that the latch system doesn't reach the metal latch loops in my van seats, So I'm using the seatbelt. Other than that I'm in love and will be getting a second one soon.

Comments about Recaro ProRide Convertible Car Seat - Riley:
This is a fantastic car seat for my one year old. She absoultley loves it and it's very comfortable for her. I love the ease for making adjustments to her belt height as she grows. It's to be expected that the seat is a bit heavy/awkward which is not a bad thing unless you are moving it from car to car which is my case. However, installation is easy, it's sturdy and feels safe. The only complaint I have is that the fabric piece where the buckle realease/attachment is keeps coming off. Not a big deal because it's not absolutley necessary to have and makes easy for cleaning but, a minor annoyance. Overall it's a great buy/investment for a growing infant/toddler. Would definately recommend to anyone trying to decide on a safe quality car seat.

Comments about Recaro ProRide Convertible Car Seat - Riley:
Love this seat so far. It is quite bulky as I was expecting. Fit's just find in middle seat of Ford Freestar. There was some difficulty installing due to angle of the bench seat. Had to use an entire fun-noodle cut up into 4 pieces in order to get the angle right.
The sides of the ProRide are high and does make placing baby in the seat a tad more of a chore, not too bad though. Overall, I am very pleased and any cons to this seat are far outweighed by the safety.
