I'm a bit of a bag fanatic so I have to say, I'm probably picker than many folks when it comes to design. That said, overall, like most bags from Skip Hop this is a really first rate bag. They have made some updates from the original version that are really smart, but missed a few opportunities to make it stellar.

Simply put the shuttle clip feature is genius! It enables you to attach and remove the bag (easily) from a stroller without having to detach (and ultimately misplace) the shoulder strap.

The pockets on the inside are still the same basic configuration, though a little deep if you are not putting a wipes container or diapers on the inside (I keep them with the changing pad in the big slit pocket on the back). The two top zip pockets are different depths which is quite useful in that one can hold say snacks and the other money, or pacifiers, or lipstick... stuff that needs to be more quickly accessible.

They have returned to the mesh bottle sleeve on the outside, which I'm very happy about, since I never understood why you would have them on the inside really (which they did on the last version). In fact the reason I had to get the new one is that that a milk box had leaked into the inside of the bag and no one noticed till it became, um, obvious and I could not get the smell or sour milk out.

That said, instead of including two, one on each side, they added a cell phone pocket, which doesn't really make sense to me as a trade off.

There are snaps instead of the annoying noisy Velcro, though the snaps on the front pockets don't work on my bag. The one on the main compartment works very well though, and is easier to open than the Velcro was.

There is a little bandolier for pens, in one of the front pockets which would be better suited to the inside, since when pens are in it it makes it difficult to put other things in that pocket.

Also, it would be nice if they would put some grommets or something in the bottom of the bag and pockets, so that when something does spill it can actually get out instead of just pooling at the bottom of the bag or pocket.

Aside from the picky details it was a great purchase! I highly recommend it!

I use this bag daily. It's gender friendly so my husband is comfortable with it too, and it has plenty of room for all of our needs! The red is a fantastic red. The lining of the pockets is water proof and easy to clean with the antibacterial hand wipes. If I could add one thing it would be a second bottle holder, but overall the bag is fabulous!

Great bag - and the new version doesn't have velcro anymore so no problems like the reviewer above.

The velcro closures catch on sleeves when trying to add or remove items from the bag. Also, use of the exterior pouches infringes upon available space in the interior and vice versa. The bag just doesn't expand enough to put much inside. Great for a short trip out (no more than 4 hours) with room for 1 bottle and a few diapers.
