About Peg Perego
After the birth of his infant son in 1949, Giuseppe Perego was unhappy with the minimal selection of juvenile products and decided to design his own baby carriage. His wife added beautiful, functional fabrics, and the overall aesthetics caught the attention of other parents in the Peregos' small Italian neighborhood. They were inundated with requests by neighbors for carriages of their own, and Peg Perego was born. Before long, the company was introducing high chairs, strollers, and other juvenile products. With each new product, the family commitment to quality continued. I've had a peg perego chair similar to this before and gave it away. This one is a different model, but still good quality. The straps are too long and too thin compared to my old one though, and the strap material is more coarse this time around. This model has the same cushion style as our previous one...hard to clean and tears very easy over time with repeated wipedowns. The reason we still like this chair though is that it blows any other chair in this category for stability and construction. It's cute, too.
