Because I had never shopped for baby furniture before I was unsure of where to start with baby mattresses considering the very wide price range. After outlining a budget and searching through many reviews, I sought after a good basic crib mattress with great support that wouldn't cost as much as my mattress (which honestly some of the crib mattresses did)and found this one. This mattress came to my attention and had all the right basics, so I ordered and hoped for the best. When it arrived[...]I was pleasantly surprised that it had a soft feel beneath the easily wipeable mattress covering. I was relieved because I had not yet purchased a waterproof mattress cover, but saw no immediate need for one after arrival.Super easy to clean.Sturdy but not stiff, firm but still soft w/ no lumps so I cant imagine any cavities developing.Fit the crib perfectly with no gaps.Lightweight and easy to handle (when you or if you ever need to flip). Purchased for my sister's first baby, who sleeps very comfortably on this mattress with no problems to speak of.A steal at the price, so you won't feel guilty about over-spending once you no longer have a use for it. Very budget-friendly without compromising on quality. I would consider this a mid-range crib mattress, and would most definitely recommend it. A+++

We have not put the mattress to use but the quality of the mattress for the price is great compared to the ones we seen at the stores.
