I absolutely love this collection. We bought it in espresso finish, and it's beautiful. My husband and I put the crib together the day we got it and that took about 2-hours. The directions were super easy to follow and everything was labeled well. The next day I put together the dresser. It took about 6-hours. The hardest part about the dresser was the fact that nothing was labeled and the directions were basically of diagrams only, and I didn't think the diagrams were not drawn with all the details. Once I figured out each part, the dresser wasn't that bad. I put the changing table together the third day, which took about 2-hours, and it was much easier than the dresser. But again nothing was labeled on the changing table. OVERALL: Love this collection and everything looks great! Totally worth the time to put together!

The crib is very nice, sturdy and well built. I can't say so much for the dresser and changing table. Poor instructions, cheap materials. The reason there is a 30 lb limit is becuase the main support is made from particle board. If you're going to use cost effective materials to make a product, give it a cost effective price for the end consumer. I'm very dissapointed with the amount of money spent on something that isn't completely made of real wood.

Loved this nursery set! It is so beautiful and so sturdy. It is not made out of cheap wood. It came packed beautiful and delivered so quickly. The price of the whole set was priced amazing including the toddler rails and the conversation kit. This set out beat anything I had seen in any big box baby store or specialty in price and quality of craftsmanship.

A: The DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib and DaVinci Kalani II Crib are identical. Each package offers different configuration options.
Q2: Is the DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib considered a "stationary side" crib or a "single drop side" crib?
A: This is a stationary side crib. The CPSC has recalled all drop side cribs.
Q3: Is there a mobile that fits this crib? I cannot find one.

Q4: Does DaVinci use non-toxic finishes on this furniture collection and is this made of solid hardwood?
A: Yes, DaVinci uses non-toxic and certified-safe lacquer and veneers. All of DaVinci's full sized cribs are made of 100% solid wood. Not MDF, not particle boards, not a mixture of other woods, pure wood! However, DaVinci's cribs with drawers do contain MDF, but only in the drawer.
