The Parker Crib features a sweeping front rail, which gives parents easy access to the crib for lifting and laying down their infants. This rail is sturdy and stationary, with no moving parts. An adjustable height mattress support lets you lower the crib mattress as your baby grows. It even includes an under-crib slide-out trundle, which provides easy-access storage for linens, mattress covers, toys, and more.
When your child has outgrown his or her crib, this bed easily transforms to a toddler bed with included guard rail, and then to a daybed. For pre-teens and up, the pieces of this bed combine to form a full-size headboard and footboard, completing a versatile piece that will grow with your child, while never falling out of style. After extensive research for safety, quality and aesthetics, not to mention budget, we selected this crib in the honey oak finish. BEWARE: the color is not an antique honey as implied in the photos, but actually very orange. We were not happy with the color, but it ultimately works OK and we didn't want to deal with the hassle of shipping it all back. Furthermore, the instructions for assembly are terrible. I think they're written in China where the crib is manufactured. I would think that one of these days, the manufacturers would consider actual photos to match each step of the assembly process. Without them, you need to skip around the steps to figure out where on the crib components to install the various bolts and brackets. My husband and I are both technically very proficient and it took us several hours to deal with this. Now that it's up, however, it is sturdy, despite the wood being somewhat soft and prone to scratching (but it seems that nearly all the cribs are subject that that). All in all, I recommend the crib, but save some time for assembly and be sure you want an orange crib if you select the honey finish.

I had this crib for 2 years.
As it is for all wood cribs, a teething cover for the rail is necessity if you don't want the wood to be chewed through.
It's a beautiful piece of furniture, but since my infant grew up a little and started jumping in his crib, and shaking the railing, and trying to escape the crib, my opinion changed. There are 3 loose screws in the crib in pretty important places, so if my son rattles the crib just right, the entire side comes loose. Toddler thinks it's hilarious, Mother thinks it's quite dangerous.
The screw holes have worn out so we can't re-screw the screws in.

We just purchased this crib for our baby due in December and love the way it looks in the nursery! It was very easy to assemble and feels extremely sturdy. The only thing I would change is to add screw covers so you didn't see the screws.

The color of this crib is very rich. It's not as dark as it looks online, but still beautiful. It does scratch easily. Packaged very good (it's a good thing, cause the box was in terrible condition...holes in it). I'm very pleased with this crib[...] I will buy from them again!
