Beautiful Crib!

We loved this crib. It is sturdy which is important to us. It was a bit shorter than we realized but we still love it! It looks so beautiful in my sons nursery.

We'd been looking for an Emily crib for a few months before we came across this one. It was less expensive than any similar ones we'd been able to find locally (Greenville, SC) or on other websites, [...]. It looks very nice once it's set up...the problem for me was figuring out the directions. They're pretty poorly drawn, and while everything's pre-drilled, it still seemed like it could've been fairly easy to put a good bit of it together backwards. For example, we got done & still had all 25 or so washers left over. We looked the directions over...no mention anywhere of using these...so we didn't. [...] it's a great looking, sturdy and relatively inexpensive crib.

My son isn't here yet, so I haven't subjected the crib to rigorous use, but so far I'm really happy with it. At 7 months pregnant, I was able to put it together almost totally by myself (needed a bit of help holding some of the pieces), and it didn't take long at all. Everything came together easily, and it looks great in the nursery - very sturdy. I like that it will be suitable for a a girl, too, if we have another child, or it can grow with my son with the toddler rail.

This crib is beautiful and sturdy! My husband put it together in a little over an hour. The mattress we ordered fits perfectly and with the way it's made, could easily be used again if we have more children. Can't wait for our little boy to start using it!

I chose this crib for my son because it was the color I wanted as well as having the option for converting to a toddler bed and full size bed later on. My son has slept in this bed from seven weeks old on and has been very comfortable. There are different screw settings to lower the mattress as the child grows. It is a beautiful piece for his room. We moved last summer and the pieces got a little scratched but they aren't in conspicuous areas. When my son got his front teeth he chewed a little on the side rails and left marks but that's okay because they will be taken off when it is converted to a full size bed. We found he didn't try to chew on the front rail (sleigh style) probably because it is too thick for him to get his teeth around. We tried the gum covers for teething but they didn't adhere to the finish well.

Over all, I love this crib. I would just suggest being very very careful if you are worried about scratches and maybe finding some teething covers for the sides. We're hoping this crib lasts through my son's teenage years and maybe beyond!
