Description

The Graco Lauren Convertible Crib Collection includes a convertible crib and matching changing table. This collection blends elements of classic style with clean modern lines to complement any nursery decor. You can purchase the convertible crib only, or add the changing table and save when you buy them together.

The crib is cleverly designed to grow with your child from infancy through the teen years. It starts as a crib with a three-position adjustable-height mattress level to lower as your baby grows. When your little one outgrows the crib, convert the crib to a toddler bed, then to a daybed. Lastly, the pieces assemble to create a full-size headboard that your child will enjoy for many years more.  You can purchase a standard bed frame that will bolt to the headboard to create a full size bed.

The matching changing table provides convenient storage as well as appealing design. It offers two fixed, open shelves for diapers, wipes, cloths, and other baby supplies, making it a valuable addition to any nursery. The changing area features side rails and a built-in safety strap for added security. The legs stand on durable casters (two locking), making it easy to reposition as needed.

Each piece is crafted from durable solid pine wood and protected with any of several popular non-toxic finish options for lasting beauty and performance.

This crib was easy to assemble, only tools needed was a screwdriver and the included wrench. All the parts were in the box and the directions and pictures were easy to understand. Once assembled the crib is so beautiful I have the expresso color it is dark and rich. The crib is quite larger than I expected, but thats a good thing in my opinion. The price is great and the crib is very durable. My baby sleeps like an angel in it.

The crib is rather cheap looking in appearance, and the wood is not a thick as I was hoping for the future use of the headboard when my grandson grew out of the crib. It is good for a newborn, but I definety wouldn't use it for the toddler or use the headboard for future use. It is inconvenient to raise and lower the in/out side of the crib; the levers are at the bottom and are a little bit of a pain to deal with.

Comments about Graco Lauren Convertible 4-in-1 Crib:

I bought this crib for a second home and wanted to buy one as close to possible as the Pottery Barn crib we have at home (that cost 4 times as much money). It did take 2 very handy men a few hours to put together, but once together, it looked great. The side slides down easily and it looks really nice. I think this crib is a great value.

Comments about Graco Lauren Convertible 4-in-1 Crib:

I agree with some of the other reviews that this crib feels a bit cheap. I was skeptical about ordering online for this reason, but I don't think I will try to return the crib. I do trust the Graco name to be safe and secure, I just wish that the slats felt more substantial and I wish that some of the pieces fit together better. The side rails that finish off the top of the left and right sides of the crib have a tiny gap where you can see the hardware going into them. It seems like this should be flush and tight. Again, it is not a safety concern, just adds to the "cheap" feeling of the crib. But I guess you get what you pay for.
