Description

If you can't decide between a dark crib or a light one, you can have both with the Nurseryworks Loom Dark Rails 3 in 1 Convertible Crib. The crib sides and top rails are covered in a rich, dark catalpa shade, while the end panels are pure white. Both finishes are non-toxic, low-VOC lacquer finishes that exceed safety standards to protect your baby and the durable wood construction underneath.

Designed with both style and safety in mind, the crib has fixed side rails, three-position adjustable mattress height, and standard full-size crib dimensions. Inspired by Shaker furniture styles, the crib boasts visually appealing, unevenly spaced slats and figured, frame-like end panels. Use the included guard rail to convert it into a toddler bed, or remove one side entirely to create a daybed that's easy to get in and out of. This crib meets ASTM industry standards and is JPMA certified by the CPSC.

Customer Q & A

1 - 5 of 6
    1   2

Q1: Nurseryworks' finishes and wood?

A: Nurseryworks furniture is handcrafted from woods finished with non-toxic and certified-safe lacquer and veneers. A child can not be harmed by these finishes. Furniture may be affected by a teething child. Replacement parts, touch-up paint, and wood stain pens are available for sale from Nurseryworks. Nurseryworks products are handcrafted and made of woods. Wood is a natural material, which may bend and cause a variation in the alignment of the drawers. Should this occur, Nurseryworks recommends attaching felt tabs or rubber pieces underneath the drawers to ensure that the drawers align.

Q2: Manufactured in?

A: Taiwan

Q3: How should Nurseryworks furniture be cared for?

A: A cotton cloth and a nontoxic cleanser will handle most needs. Nurseryworks fabrics are stain and water resistant; blotting a stain immediately with water will remove most spills. If using a fabric cleanser, an inconspicuous spot should be tested to ensure that it does not discolor the fabric. Periodic polishing or oiling of legs that have a stain finish will maintain the rich tones.

Q4: What are Nurseryworks products made of?

A: Nurseryworks furniture is made of six types of wood - ash, bent plywood, natural catalpa, Paulownia, pine, and zebra - with low-VOC lacquer and/or stained. Paulownia is a plantation wood that is harvested every 8 to10 years, thereby meeting standards for sustainability. A small amount of MDF is used to produce the Nurseryworks unique carving options.

Q5: What is required to assemble Nurseryworks furniture?

A: All Nurseryworks furniture requires some assembly, and detailed instructions are included. Required tools include a screwdriver, pliers, and possibly a wrench (for extra tightening). Assembly is simple and can be performed in less than one hour per piece.
