The Watterson Convertible Crib has a simple, yet elegant, arch design and is completely stationary - meaning there isn't a moving, side drop-down mechanism . That means this crib is sturdy and safe. Made of solid wood with a non-toxic, distressed black finish, hints of the reddish undertone peek out in all the right places. The crib has a two-position mattress height adjustment (mattress not included). It grows with baby, and easily converts from a crib to a toddler bed with the easy removal of the front side assembly. All the necessary conversion parts are included for conversion to the toddler bed. You can even convert the crib to a full-size bed later, with a full-size bed conversion kit (not included). The dresser is built to last for years: it's crafted from solid wood with wood products in the back panel, and the drawers have dovetail construction. The three extra-large drawers are constructed of the same wood and wood products, and have simple, wood pulls that you attach upon arrival - that's it, no other assembly is required! Not to be outdone by beauty, this chest dresser was also designed to be safe: each of the six drawers has a drawer stop, and a nylon anti-tip restraint lets you securely attach the dresser to the wall to prevent topsy-turvy accidents. Made from pine wood with wood composites, the dressing table comes with a dressing pad with security strap and buckle. It features one drawer, with drawer stop, and two lower storage shelves.
