Constructed of hardwoods and veneers, as are all pieces in this collection, this crib and its coordinating pieces are available in Virginia Cherry and Chocolate Mist finishes. The stationary design of the crib makes it extra sturdy, and the mattress lowers as your baby begins to sit and eventually stand. When baby is tall enough to climb out of the crib, it's time to make the conversion to the toddler bed. Simply remove the front crib rail and replace it with the smaller safety rail. Eventually, you can remove the safety rail and your toddler can enjoy the day bed style. Finally, when they're ready for a big-boy or girl bed, use the original front and back panels of the crib as head and footboards for a full-size bed (bed rails not included).

The optional Westwood Stratton 6-Drawer Chest offers six drawers perfect for organizing kids of any age. There are four large drawers topped off by two small drawers. All drawers have dovetail construction for extra strength, and slide smoothly on concealed ball bearing glides. The top portion of this chest features careful curves for added interest in shape.

The optional Westwood Stratton Combo Unit features two large drawers and one large cabinet for storing baby's bulkier items like diapers, clothes and toys. Three smaller top drawers are perfect for lotions, ointments and medicines. The top side drawers swing outward, making them more accessible and allowing you to stay closer to your baby. The combo unit also features a 3-sided safety rail to prevent baby from roll off. Of course, babies should never be left unattended while on the changing table. Add your own changing pad, and when your little one gets older, this piece will continue to work well for them as a dresser.

Adding the hutch to the combo unit adds style and functionality you'll be thankful for. This hutch features one shelf for storing baby's books, photos, and other mementos. Two built-in lights will come in handy for those late-night diaper changes or for showing off special items in the nursery. The lights have a three-position dimmer activated by a convenient touch pad so you can have just enough light to see what you're doing without waking baby in the middle of the night.
