I like everything about this portacrib except the foam mattress. It was the right size, the right thickness but the chemical smell was intolerable. Thinking it was the plastic matress cover, we removed it then washed the foam,, dried it in the sun and left it outside for three days and never could rid it of the horrible chemical odor. There was no way I would ever lay a baby on it, much less keep it inside when the odor was offensive and probabluy unsafe to breathe. I kept the crib and made my own mattress.

This crib is well worth the price. Its well made and very sturdy. The only down fall, is that you cant raise the mattress, and the sides do not raise or lower. Im very tall ,so i dont have a problem with bending over it. But if you are short,it will be hard for you to bend down, to the mattress.
