Description

The Kalani Crib offers an elegant contemporary style and converts from crib to toddler bed. Use the front and back panels of the crib to eventually create head and footboards on a full-size bed. Full size bedrail kit is not included.

The optional Kalani Combo Changer offers simple, functional style for any nursery. Durable construction offers three long drawers in the dresser section, perfect for diapers, sleepers and more. The tall portion of the changer features an additional drawer for creams and ointments and a cabinet for larger items. You may also add the optional hutch to the combo changer for additional storage once baby has outgrown the changing table area.

I absolutely love this collection. We bought it in espresso finish, and it's beautiful. My husband and I put the crib together the day we got it and that took about 2-hours. The directions were super easy to follow and everything was labeled well. The next day I put together the dresser. It took about 6-hours. The hardest part about the dresser was the fact that nothing was labeled and the directions were basically of diagrams only, and I didn't think the diagrams were not drawn with all the details. Once I figured out each part, the dresser wasn't that bad. I put the changing table together the third day, which took about 2-hours, and it was much easier than the dresser. But again nothing was labeled on the changing table. OVERALL: Love this collection and everything looks great! Totally worth the time to put together!

The crib is very nice, sturdy and well built. I can't say so much for the dresser and changing table. Poor instructions, cheap materials. The reason there is a 30 lb limit is becuase the main support is made from particle board. If you're going to use cost effective materials to make a product, give it a cost effective price for the end consumer. I'm very dissapointed with the amount of money spent on something that isn't completely made of real wood.

Me and my wife bought this for our first baby. The set went to get pretty easy. It is a great set for the money if you shop and compare and you can't beat the shipping we received the set in two days.

The product is very nice once put together. Becareful as it does scratch and dent easily. The directions were a little confusing since the parts were not labeled clearly. This will be our first child so we are excited to see how it last and works out.

Q1: Does this crib have a trundle drawer?

A: No. This crib does not have a trundle drawer.

Q2: Do the drawers on the changing table pull all the way out and what type of glides are they on?

A: The drawers have metal glide hardware. They also feature a stop mechanism so you are unable to pull them out directly. The drawers have to be released to fully pull them out.

Q3: What is the difference between the Kalani & Kalani II cribs?

A: The DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib and DaVinci Kalani II Crib are identical. Each package offers different configuration options.

Q4: Does the side slide up and down or is it stationary?

A: This is a stationary side crib. The CPSC has recalled all drop side cribs.

Q5: Where is this crib manufactured?

A: This crib is manufactured in Taiwan.
