When your little one outgrows the crib, convert it to a toddler bed, then to a daybed. Lastly, the pieces assemble to create a full-size headboard that your child will enjoy for many years more. You can purchase a standard bed frame that will bolt to the headboard to create a full size bed.
Each piece is crafted from durable solid pine wood and protected with any of several popular non-toxic finish options for lasting beauty and performance.

This product went together in about an hour with my son-in-law and neighbor (both self-avowed NON-do-it-yourselfers)working together. It is BEAUTIFUL. I don't know if it will actually last through all its various transformations from crib to bed, so I can't give it a 5-star rating. But, as a crib, it is solid in construction and easy to operate. The slats are very close together to avoid any trapping of the baby's head. The rollers make it easy to move around the nursery if necessary after its construction. I have no negatives to report at this time. If I do, I'll post back. I purchased the bed and changing table together. The changing table does not seem as sturdy as the bed, but that could just be because it's top-heavy. After its bottom shelf is stacked with some equipment, toys, etc. The problem may be solved. If you purchase the changing table, know that it comes with its own pad. The advertisement didn't say this, so I purchased an extra and didn't need it. Worked out OK, though. Can be used by the cat to sleep on the second shelf. :)
