About Graco
When Russell Gray and Robert Cone joined forces in 1942, baby products were not their focus. The pair originally formed Graco Metal Products in Philadelphia, PA. The firm fabricated machine and car parts for local manufacturers for 11 years. Gray left in 1953, leaving Cone as sole owner, and Cone got the idea to manufacture baby products from a Graco employee, David Saint, father of 9. Inspired by the idea of Mrs. Saint soothing her babies on the backyard glider, the Graco Swyngomatic was born. The Swyngomatic sold millions, catapulting Graco to become a leader in manufacturing juvenile products in the process. Cribs.com was the ONLY place I could find this changing table in walnut (other places only had it in white.) It was easy to put together & is MUCH sturdier than other similarly priced changing tables. We have this table in our family room & use it to change our newborn & toddler and it works great for both of them. The shelves are very sturdy & it looks nice in the room. We did purchase a contured, more "cushiony" pad which I like a lot better than the pad it comes with, but I would've done that with most of the changing tables I loooked into. [...]

Bought this for our second child..This is definitely a nice changing table. We realized why it was such a good bargain though..When we put it together, we had 2 top and middle rails that both belonged on the same side..No biggie though- 1 side is rounded and the other is flat, but very hard to tell unless you study the table. Only cosmetic- did not affect the sturdiness or construction of the changing table. Overall a good value and happy with our purchase!

[...] This web site had this product for the least expensive!!! Easy set up and sturdy...After reading other reviews, I did not put the wheels on. I ne to put some felt (or something)on the plastic where the wheels go in to protect the carpet. There is also a thin changing pad that comes with the table. I put the pad on and secured it with the straps but used a regular thick changing pad that was given to me. The pad I have is a little short for the table but I have not measured the pad vs new ones. One last thig, the bed I have is cinnamon and the table is also cinnamon, but the table is slightly more cherry/red in color than the bed. In the store they matched really good but at home you can see the difference but not enough that I'm disappointed (there are 2 different manufactures). Very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and sturdy changing table!

I bought this as a gift for my son and his wife expecting their first baby. It matches perfectly with a cherry crib that they had already received.
They loved it! The only thing I am going to add is another cushioned mattress pad. The original seems too thin for a newborn.
