This was a good bit of work to put together, about 3 hours for my wife and I, and I am usually comfortable with you-build-it furniture. The instructions say not to use power tools, but I can't imagine how long this would have taken if I had not used a powered screwdriver.
In the end, it looked very nice and is very sturdy. I might have changed my mind about the product if I had known ahead of time that the sides and top were particle board.
Great value for the price.

I like this piece because it is tall, and my husband and I are both very tall so we won't need to bend over too much when changing baby. However, in putting this together there were some poorly prepped pieces that we had to manipulate to go together, which meant bringing out our own power tools to "clean up" some of the poorly drilled holes that were crooked and incomplete. Good thing my husband is an engineer. It also dents easily. In the end, I am very happy with the look and functionality of the changing table/dresser, but some parts of the assembly were a real nightmare. Other than those two or three faulty pieces, we were able to come out with a nice dresser with a little sweat and tears.

Hayneedle was alot cheaper than other places we checked and they shipped right away and we recieved earlier than expected. Kept us informed as to the status of our order.

The flaws are as follows: drawer bottoms are flimsy cardboard. Do not expect to store heavy items. Also, when you pull the drawer knobs with one hand/knob, the drawer flexes and does not slide out that smoothly. Finally, the drawer heights are not tall enough for powder, wipe containers, or lotion containers.
My wife wanted a enclosed table or I would have gotten an I,ea changing table at 1/4 the cost. still, Hayneedle had the best price on this.

ALTHOUGH THE DRESSER WAS PRETY, IT WAS SCRATCHED & THE DIRECTIONS WERE NOT CLEAR. PIECES WEREN'T MARKED.
