Best Uses
I purchased this primarily because of the great price, and once it was completed, I am happy with how it looks and functions. The rolling shelves in the cabinet are especially nice.
It took about 4 nights to do pre-assembly of all the pieces and one night of a friend's help (husband was on travel) to put it all together. there are some parts that are disappointing, like the chipboard backing to the cabinet, and the mid-grade particle board in the pieces. Assembly requires a hammer and screwdriver. not all nail holes are pre-drilled.
in the end its pretty sturdy, but I am interested to see how it survives the next move.
I was also frustrated that the line just includes dressers, so it will be hard for me to find a crib that matches.
...on the plus side, it was put together in Canada, which is rare.
If you remember some lessons from wood shop as a kid, this is a challenge, if not, bribe a friend for help.
