We purchased this because of the high reveiws it received. Within 3 months it began creaking and making loud noises when it rocked. Obviously, this was frustrating when trying to put down a 6 month old to bed! The gliding mechanisms became loose, as well causing it to rock unevenly. I am currently attempting a return, as it comes with a one year warranty. It was used under normal use by parents of healthy weight. In retrospect, we should have spent the extra no show for increased quality.

    We purchased this glider for our daughter's nursery and we've been very impressed. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble. We use it off and on throughout the day (4-5 hours total) for feedings and getting her to sleep. It's very comfortable even for larger framed individuals (like my 6ft 300lb husband). It doesn't make any noise and we've been using ours about a month now. It's very comfortable and seems to be built out of solid materials. The only thing I can't attest to yet is whether or not it is stain resistant. I would certainly recommend this glider.

          Set it up and fell in love. The cushions are very soft and the motion is very smooth. We got it for a great price...don't wait if you see this for less than $150, but I don't think you can find anything better than $200.

            I use the chair for relaxation. Love that the base and ottoman is preassembled. Only had to attach the back and arms. Took 10 minutes. Very easy. Like the armrest pockets. Delivery was super fast. I ordered on a Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday. Delivery information was accurate and easy to follow. Highly recommend this chair & Hayneedle.
