        I haven't had a chance to use the rocker with an infant/child yet. But I have sat in it on and off to get an idea if I like it.. and so far I do. I m tall for a female at 5'8 and while sitting straight up the back doesn't reach my head (nothing does) but when in a relaxed position with my feet on the ottoman its pretty comfortable and has enough neck support to make it through the midnight feedings to come. My husband wasn't available when it arrived to help me assemble it, but I was able to do it without any issue! The light brown color is very nice and a sandy undertone.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I was skeptical about ordering it without trying but I still took the chance. The product arrived on time and it was pretty easy to assemble- only couple of pieces. Check out the instructions and you'll know what I'm talking about.
          It looks sturdy and expensive. It has a deep seat (it could fit my toddler and very pregnant myself easily) but the cushion is very hard- it might get softer with time... I've had it for 1 week only. It's a 2 piece set and the price is very reasonable. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
