We love the look of this glider in our second baby's room. It is attractive and the color is great---a light tan. Our baby is due in a couple of weeks, but we have tried it out with our just two year old. We have a wooden/padded glider in his room, which we use daily before his naps and bedtime, and when he wakes in the morning to read stories. At times when he has been sick, we have sat in the glider and held him while he rested/slept(at times sleeping for 2 hours). That glider isn't very comfortable for long periods of time, however, especially for my 6'4" husband. We use it so often that we decided to get a fully upholstered one for our second baby. This glider is certainly more comfortable than our wooden one and will easily fit him/her as he/she grows. Our only wish was that the back of the glider was taller so that if you are rocking your little one in it, you would be able to rest your head against the back cushion. The cushions are a little firmer than we'd like, but we're hoping that as we use it, they will begin to get more worn in.

This was bought sight unseen online. For not having ever sat in it, it's pretty good. It does creak when turned even slightly, but does okay when gliding front to back straight on.
